Project Feature: A Luxury Reception That Blends Nature and Innovation – Pune, 20,000 Sq. Ft.

In the heart of Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial corridor, Uniworks Designs was commissioned to craft a high-end reception experience for a tech company specializing in enterprise applications and digital services. Though the project spanned a 20,000 sq. ft. facility, the brief was sharply focused—the reception needed to speak luxury, sustainability, and innovation in equal measure.

The Vision

The client envisioned a space that would create an unforgettable first impression for global clients while embodying the brand’s commitment to eco-conscious innovation. The space had to be more than a waiting area—it needed to act as a statement piece, reflecting both technological excellence and grounded elegance.

Design Concept

We designed the reception to feel warm, grand, and organic. The palette combined natural materials like stone cladding, textured wall panels, and fluted wood with biophilic elements such as indoor green walls, live planters, and a natural light-enhanced layout.

Key Design Features:

• A double-height reception with a handcrafted natural stone desk

• Backdrop with custom brand signage and a live vertical green wall

• Ceiling integrated with sunlight-mimicking LED panels for a daylight effect

• Lounge seating with earthy tones and premium upholstery

• Use of certified sustainable materials in flooring, wall finishes, and furniture

Challenges Overcome

1. Material Sourcing for Sustainability
   The client insisted on green-certified materials. This meant a tighter vendor pool, extended lead times, and careful selection. Our sourcing team vetted each supplier for eco-compliance and worked closely with the PMC team for approvals.

2. Balancing Luxury and Budget
   Achieving a luxury finish using sustainable, natural materials can be cost-intensive. We value-engineered custom furniture and used a hybrid mix of imported and locally sourced elements—resulting in premium quality without cost overrun.

3. On-Site Execution
   Since the building was partially operational, noise and dust control protocols were critical. We executed key finishes during non-working hours, maintaining strict timelines without disturbing ongoing operations.

Outcome

The final space reflects a stunning blend of organic textures and modern minimalism. The reception has become a showcase zone for client walkthroughs and internal events. Employees often use it for informal meetings and breakouts—making it both high-utility and high-impact.
