Project Spotlight: 2,800 Sq. Ft. Photoshoot Studio – Madhapur, Hyderabad

Uniworks Designs was entrusted with designing and building a versatile photography and content creation studio in the heart of Madhapur, Hyderabad’s creative and tech corridor. Spanning 2,800 sq. ft., the space was to be a blank canvas for creators, brands, and production houses—with flexibility and control at its core.

Design Intent

The brief was to create a modular, light-responsive environment with a neutral aesthetic that could adapt to different shoot needs—ranging from fashion and portraiture to product and editorial shoots.

Key Spatial Features:

• Large open studio area with seamless matte-finish walls and anti-glare lighting

• Cyclorama wall for clean product and fashion shoots

• Multiple background rails and prop zones for instant scene transitions

• Changing rooms, vanity station, and compact editing zone for on-the-go workflows

• Acoustically controlled spaces to support video and audio shoots

Challenges Addressed:

1. Lighting Optimization
   Achieving controlled daylight and artificial lighting balance was critical. We introduced dimmable industrial lighting, blackout blinds, and recessed fixtures to offer total control to photographers.

2. Ceiling & Floor Load Management
   Heavy backdrop rigs and overhead lighting structures required ceiling reinforcement and structural checks. We coordinated closely with structural consultants for safe installations.

3. Multipurpose Use with Minimal Visual Interference
   The space had to feel neutral yet premium. We used clean concrete floors, whitewashed walls, and movable acoustic panels that disappear into the background, letting the creative work take center stage.

Final Output

The finished studio is a sleek, multifunctional content lab—where brands and creators walk in and instantly get to work. Whether it’s a product shoot or a fashion editorial, the space is ready to adapt, reflect, and support the creative vision.

Client Feedback

The client was impressed with the studio’s flexibility and professional-grade infrastructure, calling it a "production-ready zone that feels boutique yet highly functional." It’s already booked out for several upcoming fashion and commercial shoots.
